Happy Valentine's Day

Well even though we are off of school for Mardi Gras break, I would still love to send out a Happy Valentine's Day to everyone I will be traveling to see my daughter today while she is still in the hospital for Valentine's Day. Thanks to everyone for the prayers especially when you dont even know what is going on. You guys are the best. I love how teachers stick together. My daughter is a 15 year old beautiful teenager that let bullys get the best of her, and tried to end her life. She is getting the help she needs and is now learning to stand up for herself. If I can say anything about what I have learned through all of this, as teachers and mothers we need to stop the teasing and picking on each other while they are young, I see it in kindergarten. This way when they are teenagers they dont have to go through what my family is going through. I also finished my Dolch sight words set, you can check it at here at my store

  1. Oh my goodness... I am so sorry. How scary and upsetting, I can't imagine what she and you and your family have gone through. Glad she is getting help and on the mend. I always hope that at the first sign of bullying teachers and other kids step in and put a stop to it. It goes unnoticed and it never should. Take care.

    1. Thank you, yes it has been a rough time. She has been in there almost three weeks and she will get her first weekend pass this weekend we are so excited. She sounds so much happier, but the test will be when she gets home and has to go back to school, we are thinking of homeschooling her. But thanks for your kind words.

  2. So glad to hear that she is in a place where a loving mom and friends can come to be by her side. That sounds so scary - I can't even imagine what you are going through, nor how you guys make a plan to move forward. I hope that taking it day by day brings healing to your entire family.
